Giving back.

Since 2011, I have released an annual calendar of my photographic work with all proceeds being donated to various not-for-profit organisations and worthy causes. In that time, over 1,320 calendars have been sold worldwide raising over $32,000.

Partnering with Momento Pro, six of my calendars currently occupy the top 10 products ever sold at Momento, including my 2014 charity calendar which is their no. 1 best selling item.

I am proud to be able to use my photography and images to be able to give back to the community and help those people and organisations that need it most.

Great Southern Land - A Calendar for Lily 2014 Charity Calendar

Great Southern Land - A Calendar for Lily - 2014 Charity Fundraising Calendar
Amount Raised - $8,848.84

My annual fund-raising photographic calendar for 2014, a collaboration was in support of a very special little girl.

Lily was the daughter of close family friends. She was just like any normal 8 year old girl. A big Essendon supporter, she loved her basketball, watching MasterChef and was a caring, thoughtful and loving big sister to her two younger brothers, Ollie and Archer.

In July 2013, Lily was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a rare form of liver cancer, and over the next 13 months underwent several operations, and several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatment in an attempt to beat the disease, and although she did go into remission in January 2014, she relapsed again shortly after and passed away at the age of 9 years in August of 2014.

Throughout her whole ordeal, Lily continued to smile and laugh and inspired the people around her by displaying an unwavering determination, strength and positive attitude towards beating her disease.

All profits from the sale of this year's calendar were donated to Lily's parents to assist them in providing her with a fantastic life experience opportunity in early 2014 when she was in remission.

Street Scene - 2013 Charity Fundraising Calendar
Amount Raised - $5,195.83

2013 saw the release of my annual photographic charity calendar supporting Project Dovetail, an Australian based not-for-profit children's organisation established by my friend, and winner of 2008 Mrs. Australia, Danielle Larche.

Project Dovetail, run entirely by a team of committed and passionate volunteers, provides fantastic support to children who are disadvantaged through social situation, isolation, financial struggles, parental abandonment and illness.

Each year Project Dovetail runs various projects, camps, activities and Kids Day Out experiences, both in Australia and abroad, that enrich the lives of underprivileged children and bring hope to where it is needed most. For more information on the fantastic work undertaken by Project Dovetail, please visit www.projectdovetail.org.

All profits from the sale of this year's calendar were donated to Project Dovetail, to sponsor the annual village camp in 2013 for the children at SOS Children's Village, Beau Bassin, Mauritius, an initiative that Project Dovetail has been supporting since 2010.

SOS Children's Village, Beau Bassin, is a Mauritian home for children who have gone through the struggles of parental abandonment. 2013 will be the third year running that Project Dovetail have sponsored the camp.

The camp is an opportunity that not only enables the children of the SOS Village Beau Bassin to holiday with their family and participate in loads of fun activities, but also lets them know that they are special and that there are people in the world who care about them. The camp is usually held at Christmas time and is a wonderful opportunity for the children to have something to look forward to at a time when everyone is focusing on Christmas and family.
